Drumroll, please…We’re tickled to announce that our Chattanooga location will be serving concessions at Finley Stadium for Chattanooga Mocs home football games at Finley Stadium! The first home game is slated for this Saturday, Sept. 16, versus UT Martin, and we can’t wait to serve the best football fans around.

In addition to the five home football games, Puckett’s concessions will also be served at the Chattanooga Football Club games next spring!

“We are very excited to have Puckett’s going into concessions for Mocs football games this year,” says Travis Patrick, director of business development for Mocs Sports Properties. “As we continually work to improve the football game day atmosphere, we look for new partners to help us add value to our fans. With Puckett’s bringing in that value and providing another quality food option, we can expect to see more fans lining up for Mocs Football Saturdays.”

We’ll be serving up some of your favorites, like our signature Piggy Mac, Redneck Burrito, chicken tenders and fries, hot chicken sandwich, brisket nachos, smoked wings and more!

“Our son, Cliff, attended UTC, so the Marshall family has supported Mocs Football for years now,” says Andy Marshall, CEO of A. Marshall family Foods. “We’re honored to have this opportunity to form a relationship with Finley Stadium and UTC Football and hope that Mocs fans find that game days are enhanced by our presence in the stadium.”

We’ll be located in the East Corner of the South Concourse at Finley, so be sure to come see us!

Finley Stadium is the official home stadium for UTC Football, UTC Soccer, and Chattanooga FC. More information about Finley Stadium can be found at finleystadium.com.

WHAT WE’RE LOVIN’ :: OYSTERS AFTER LABOR DAY!

Labor day is one our favorite holidays, ’cause it marks the (okay, unofficial) start of oyster season!

PBH- Food- New Orleans Oysters- 77-web (1)

Here at A. Marshall Family Foods, we love oysters all year ‘round, but it’s no secret that they’re most popular during the fall. If it’s been awhile since you’ve indulged, here’s a little pearl of wisdom: at Puckett’s Boat House, we source our oysters fresh daily from the Gulf Coast (which happens to also be one of our favorite places!) Our guests have eaten over half a million oysters at the Boat House, and one of ’em even contained 50 pearls! There is no better place in Franklin to get a taste of this seafood treat.

When we’re feeling traditional, we like to serve ‘em up raw on the half shell with a lemon and cocktail sauce. When we’re feeling spunky, we recommend trying ’em grilled and topped with asiago, bacon, and jalapeño; creamy spinach dip; or cajun herb and garlic butter. Can’t decide? Heck, order ’em all!

Oysters go great with bubbles, try them with a sparkling white wine to really complete the experience. We’ll see you soon, and if you find a pearl, don’t forget to tag us @puckettsboath to let us know!

And the winning burger is…

Your votes have been tallied and we’re excited to announce the winner of the Battle of the Burgers is… drum roll please… Three Little Pigs!

PBH-Battle-of-the-Burger-Web-Post-Art

Three house sliders, crispy bacon crumbles, house pickles, homemade sweet and savory burger sauce, American cheese and bacon jam, served with sweet potato fries and a side of burger sauce.

Three Little Pigs will be available at all Puckett’s Gro. locations and Puckett’s Boat House throughout the month of September. $1 for every Three Little Pigs sold will go to the A. Marshall Family Foods Walk to End Alzheimer’s team’s fundraising efforts!

Beep Beep! We’ve got some news to share! Puckett’s Trolley — our mobile eatery — has partnered with MT Athletics to offer our down-home, Southern fare to Middle Tennessee State University football fans inside Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium this upcoming season!

“We are always seeking to add new elements to the fan experience at Blue Raiders athletic events,” said Zach Huston, business development manager for Blue Raider Sports Properties. “We’re delighted to feature a local, well-known brand like Puckett’s and are confident that the trolley’s presence will be a crowd-pleaser.”

The Puckett’s Trolley concessions menu will include offerings like a “meat and two” plate — with our famous slow-smoked pulled pork or beef brisket as meat options — plus brisket nachos, smoked wings and Piggy Mac — a favored Puckett’s creation — among other bites. Affectionately named Ms. Trolley Parton, the red trolley will be stationed inside gates 3 and 4 at Floyd Stadium for all home games during the 2017 football season.

Did y’all know Andy AND Claire are alumni of MTSU? Andy even played on the football team briefly, before getting sidelined due to an injury!

“Great food and football go hand in hand, and as MTSU alums we are passionate about enhancing the game day experience for our fellow Blue Raiders with the addition of Puckett’s Trolley,” Claire said.

The MTSU Blue Raiders will play Vanderbilt in the season opener tomorrow, September 2, at 7pm. What could be better than cheering on your favorite team while munching on your favorite Puckett’s foods? We’ll see y’all at Floyd Stadium!

Community Spotlight :: Propak Cares + Mission H2O

PC-logo-stacked-fullcolor-RGB

Mission H2O is coming down to the wire, and we’re this close to hitting our goal of donating 25,000 water bottles to the Nashville Rescue Mission! Our friends at Propak were generous enough to donate 2,000 bottles to our cause, and we are extremely grateful for their support.  We wanted y’all to know a little more about the incredible things Propak is doing, so we asked ’em a couple questions:

  • What does Propak do? Propak focuses on the supply chain industry. We have 13 warehouse locations from St. Louis, MO to Mira Loma CA that perform supply chain operations for our customers. We have three transportation offices in Nashville, Orlando and Rogers that specialize in 3PL transportation.
  • Why is it important for Propak to be involved with community outreach? Propak started in late 1999 with the idea of working hard, then going home to your families. We have been blessed over the years to have great employees who understand that if you take care of  your customers, you should grow your business. We have built a customer base that has allowed us to grow from two  to over 1,500 employees. Because we have been blessed, we want to give back and help others within our communities.
  • Why did you feel Mission H2O was a great cause to contribute to?  Water is one of the central items we all need and take for granted. So many people don’t think twice when they need a drink of water. Knowing there are some who don’t have clean drinking water in our area is unthinkable, and we wanted to help. In our home office we had another water drive that each department tried to donate the most cases.  Everyone had a good time trying to out best the other teams and knowing the water went to people who need it made it that much more fun.
  • What is something that not many people know about Propak? Propak has a team that operate a committee  named Propak Cares. That team works with all of our plants and divisions on helping their community.  Some of the companies and causes we have helped this year include:  Arkansas Children’s hospital, St. Jude in Memphis,  Havana Nights Children’s emergency shelter, Girls  Inc. and many others.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Propak and other corporate sponsors of Mission H2O like Ajax, Planet H2O, SunTrust Private Wealth Management, Mobile Fixtures and Pierce Public Relations! We wouldn’t be able to serve so many deserving people without you.
