Thursday, May 18 :: Grab a Cone for the Boys & Girls Clubs!

May 19-Ice Cream-23
Whether your sweet treat of choice is two scoops of artisan ice cream in a waffle cone, a homemade baked good, a milkshake or a float, indulging on
Thursday, May 18 at Hattie Jane’s Creamery in Columbia or Murfreesboro, Tenn. will contribute to our teams’ efforts to support local Boys & Girls Club organizations!

We believe in the great work that the Clubs are doing in our community so much, that we’ve pledged to donate 10% of proceeds from both of our creamery locations on May 18 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County.

If you haven’t tried Hattie JaBOTH-Boys-and-Girls-Club-Day-Web-Artne’s yet, tomorrow is the time! We’re a small-batch ice cream shop offering a variety of unique flavors, including Potato Chip and Matcha Green Tea ice creams. Hattie Jane’s is co-owned by Middle Tennessee restaurateur Andy Marshall and his daughter, Claire Crowell, and was inspired by Claire’s three-year-old, named — you guessed it — Hattie Jane!

A desire to support and cultivate many deserving organizations in our restaurants’ communities is a pillar of the A. Marshall brand, but the Boys & Girls Clubs are especially significant to us, as Andy credits his local Club for providing positive role models for him as an adolescent.

Both locations of Hattie Jane’s Creamery offer a rotating selection of ice creams, but some flavors are unique to either Columbia or Murfreesboro, such as Pink Guava Sorbet or PB & Marshmallow Cream, respectively. Both sell freshly baked cookies and brownies, milkshakes, floats, and sundaes, and, of course, we also have a full-service coffee bar in Murfreesboro!

Come on by and grab a cone for a great cause tomorrow!

WHEN: Thursday, May 18 | 11AM – 9PM

Puckett’s M’Boro Celebrates 10th of May with “Ten for Tucker’s House” Campaign!

MBoro Dining Room 020417-29

You all know that A. Marshall Family Foods, our parent company, is committed to giving back to the communities in which our restaurants are planted, and we’re ready to show our newest neighborhood, Murfreesboro, some love! TODAY, May 10, Puckett’s Gro. in Murfreesboro is running a “Ten for Tucker’s House” campaign, pledging to donate 10% of the entire day’s sales to Tucker’s House, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the families of children with disabilities.

Our fifth location of Puckett’s Gro., which opened on the downtown Murfreesboro square three months ago, invites the community to ‘dine for a cause’ all day today to support the campaign’s efforts. In honor of the Tucker’s House mission and the four local children it is currently working to serve, we have sheets available for children diners to color that will be given to the Tucker’s House families as books of encouragement.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Kelli Beam, a great friend of Puckett’s and Vice President of Membership Development for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, will share her experiences with Tucker’s House with our diners at 6PM. Then, one of our restaurants’ regulars, Jesse Kramer, will hit the stage at 6:30PM. It’s going to be a fun night and we sure hope to see you there!

Tucker’s House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was developed to partner with families of children with disabilities up to the age of 22 years old and their healthcare providers to provide assistance through specialized retrofitting resources to meet their specific immediate, intermediate and long term needs that make their home accessible, safe and an environment to where the children can achieve their potential.
