We are SO excited to say that Puckett’s Grocery in Murfreesboro is comin’ right along and we are READY TO HIRE for all staff positions! We’re holding a job fair this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Jan. 4 through Jan. 6, at 225 West College St. in Murfreesboro and want to meet you!

Available roles include managers, servers, hosts, line cooks, prep cooks and server assistants, among others. Interviews will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on all three days.

If you’re interested in joining our A. Marshall family, please stop by the job fair at your convenience. We’ll have applications available on site, and you should bring a current resume and valid photo I.D.

Pop, fizz, clink! It’s almost time to ring in 2017 and we’ve got a handful of options for you to choose from, all of which include good food, live music and great friends!

Each of our restaurants will celebrate the start of the new year with live music performances and chef-inspired curated dinner menus and specials for the evening. Reservations are going fast and most are being accepted by phone only, so y’all hurry and give us a call!

Puckett’s Gro., downtown Nashville
Puckett’s at 5th Ave. and Church St. in downtown Nashville will welcome the 1970’s musical style of Vinyl Radio to its stage at 10 p.m. The cost is $70 per person and includes the show and a festive three-course menu from which guests may select two salads, one of four entrees and one of two desserts, as well as party favors and a Champagne toast. Seating for the show begins at 9 p.m. and those interested should call for reservations: (615) 770-2722.

Puckett’s Gro., downtown Franklin
Located right off Main St., Puckett’s Gro. in downtown Franklin will offer two times for New Year’s Eve partygoers to enjoy dinner and a show by Beatles cover band The Wannabeatles. $60 per person for the 6 p.m. seating and $75 per person for the 9 p.m. includes a three-course meal comprised of the guest’s choice of one appetizer, one of four entrees and espresso cake for dessert. A Champagne toast at midnight is also included in the cost for the 9 p.m. show. Reservations accepted in the restaurant or by phone at (615) 794-5527.

Puckett’s Gro., downtown Columbia
Puckett’s Gro. on the public square in downtown Columbia will be rockin’ to the classic songs of the 60s and 70s with a show by Boomerang at 10 p.m. Seating will begin at 9 p.m. and the cost is $65 per person, which includes a family style salad for the table, the choice of one entree and two sides from a special menu, and the choice of one of two dessert options. Puckett’s Gro., downtown Chattanooga
Puckett’s Chattanooga will welcome Georgia band Remembering January to its stage at 10 p.m. The cost for the evening is $50 per person and includes the show and a festive three-course menu, as well as party favors and a Champagne toast at midnight. The dinner menu will include a salad course; the guest’s choice of one of three entree options including smoked herb salmon, garlic ribeye, or country ham stuffed chicken; and the choice of either coconut tres leches cake, an apple bacon waffle, or black bottom icebox pie for dessert. Seating for the show will begin at 9 p.m. Call (423) 708-8505 for reservations.

Puckett’s Boat House
New Year’s Eve at Puckett’s Boat House will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with an acoustic performance by Jon Mullins with Brentwood Down. The restaurant’s regular menu of Southern seafood favorites will be available as well as dinner specials. There is no cover for the first show, and reservations are recommended.

At 10 p.m., Brentwood Down’s full band will join Jon Mullins to perform through the end of the evening. Seating for the second show will begin at 9:30 p.m., and costs $25 per person, which includes a Champagne toast at midnight and party favors. We’ll have a limited appetizer menu that you can order from, plus the Boat House’s full drink menu.

Scout’s Pub
Our Westhaven restaurant is providing a swanky backdrop for locals looking for an alternative New Year’s Eve experience; the chef-inspired restaurant is hosting a four-course dinner that will offer an elevated meal, complete with house wine pairings and more.

A $75 ticket provides guests with an array of dishes prepared special for the night by the Scout’s Pub head chef, Lee Rice, from cider braised pork belly with black eyed pea puree to brown butter seared scallops and filet au poivre, and ending the meal with creme brûlée and a champagne kiss shot dessert.

Those looking to spend the evening with their significant other can do so with a $150 couples ticket, which includes the four-course menu for each party as well as a bottle of wine to split. Wine pairings include options from the restaurant’s signature house selections ranging from Puckett’s chardonnay and merlot to the Puckett’s Boat House pinot grigio and Homestead Manor cabernet sauvignon.

Scout’s is offering two seating times to choose from: 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. After you dine, you are also invited to continue the holiday celebrations at the bar where champagne, signature cocktails, brews and more will be served.

Homestead Manor
Harvest at Homestead Manor will serve its own four-course, farm to fork meal curated special for the holiday that includes shared appetizers, soup or salad, an array of main dish options and dessert.

Guests will begin their meal with a choice between an endive spear with avocado, lobster and grapefruit, and chicken liver toast with shallot jam, in addition to soup or salad options ranging from lobster bisque to apples, spicy pecans, blue cheese and champagne vinaigrette over fresh greens.

Entree choices include seared scallops over a potato pancake with caviar sauce, filet mignon with wild mushrooms and rosemary garlic mashed potatoes, and pomegranate orange chicken with roasted root vegetables and gruyere garlic roasted mashed potatoes. To finish off the dining experience, guests will be served a special-made dessert featuring chocolate and caramel flavor profiles.
