From Puckett’s, With Love

Now that Storm Jonas has moved on and we’ve shoveled our way out of the snow, we can turn our attention to everything the next month has to bring—namely, Valentine’s Day!

Whether you have your heart set on a romantic night out with your significant other, or you’re looking to get out of the house with your group of girl friends, we want to invite you to spend the holiday with us.

From live music to special menus, read on to learn what each of our locations (including the Boat House) has to offer:

Puckett’s Boat House
Puckett’s Boat House and its guests will enjoy the sultry, acoustic sounds of Jon Mullins as he mixes soulful vocals, powerful lyrics, hooky melodies and great rhythms. The entertainment promises not to disappoint those who want to hit the dance floor or enjoy a laid back, easy listening.

There are two seatings for the show. The first show will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m., the second show will begin at 8 and end at 9:30 p.m. Tickets to the show are $10 per person. The Boat House is also providing special Valentine’s Day menu items.

Puckett’s in Downtown Franklin
Puckett’s Franklin will host musical guest Buddy Jewell—an American country music singer-songwriter best known for his appearance on Nashville Star.

In addition to the concert, Puckett’s will provide a special pre-fixe menu, with drink pairing suggestions for each option. The seating begins at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30. The cost is $50 per person, and includes the special Valentine’s Day meal.

Puckett’s in Downtown Nashville
Puckett’s 5th & Church is serenading guests with the piano melodies. Guest will dine while listening to the sounds of James Slater, a two-time, Grammy-nominated, piano-playing, bilingual singer-songwriter of Bolivian American descent.

Puckett’s will also provide an exclusive menu prepared by Chef Keith West, with wine pairing suggestions for each option. Seating starts at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include special Valentine’s meal.

Puckett’s in Downtown Chattanooga
Puckett’s Chattanooga is spending its first Valentine’s Day hosting diners for a romantic evening featuring a special three-course meal, starring Ruby, the riverside restaurant’s smoker. Dinner includes a starter, choice of homemade, Southern entrees and suggested wine pairings, and finished with a dessert too good to share.

Couples will also enjoy a live show with country artist/hit songwriter Trent Willmon—because what’s an evening at Puckett’s without music?!

Puckett’s in Downtown Columbia
Puckett’s Columbia is celebrating the month of love with its annual tradition of month-long specials and events meant to show support for the surrounding community and their loyal costumers.

Lucky diners could stumble across prizes that Puckett’s is inserting in select menus, like gift cards, complimentary food and Puckett’s swag. In addition, four golden tickets—representing four grand prizes consisting of gift cards to surrounding Columbia businesses—will also be placed in select menus for guests to find.

The restaurant will also host a special Valentine’s Day dinner and show on February 14th, featuring Boomerang music and a delicious three-course meal.

Nashville Restaurant Week Is Back!

It’s one of our most favorite times of the year… Nashville Restaurant Week is BACK, y’all! From Monday, January 18th, through Sunday, January 24th, the Nashville Originals—Music City’s independent restaurant association—is inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy special menus plus breakfast, lunch and dinner deals around town, all as a way to celebrate our city’s unique restaurants and give back to the diners that support them.

Three of our locally owned restaurants, Puckett’s 5th & Church, Puckett’s Franklin and Puckett’s Boat House, are proud members of the Nashville Originals and use the weeklong foodie event to get creative with the menus and offer our customers a dining experience unlike one you’ve ever had at Puckett’s!

The downtown Nashville location has come up with an impressive three-course menu of Southern-inspired dishes (all with a Puckett’s twist, of course) like a creamy broccoli- and wild rice-stuffed pork tenderloin served with smoked rainbow carrots; a Panko-breaded and fried chicken piccata; or a trio of Ahi tuna tacos glazed with the original Puckett’s spicy barbecue sauce. For the best meal all around, look for the suggested drink pairings for each entree.

Puckett’s in downtown Franklin is offering a similar three-course meal with options like cherry-smoked pork loin stuffed with bacon, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach; hearty rosemary pot pie served in a crispy bread bowl; and smoked ginger chicken over saffron rice. And dessert’s a must, with options like the homemade cobbler of the day or French toast pound cake with maple ice cream!

For coastal fare, head over the Puckett’s Boat House for their three-course Nashville Restaurant Week menu filled with Boat House favorites like cornmeal-fried catfish, jambalaya, grilled cod and sautéed mushrooms ‘n’ grits. It’s the perfect meal for lunch or dinner.

Or both.

Download PDFs of all three menus here, and visit the Nashville Originals website here for more event information. Continue scrolling for a peak at some of the various Nashville Restaurant Week offerings….just be careful not to drool on your computer!

This gift-giving season, we’re offering three ways to shop + save quicker than you can say, “pass the cranberry sauce.” From marinades to gift cards, we’re making it easier for you to check off your shopping list and leave more time to spend with the people you love.

Because the holidays aren’t all about shopping, you know.

Barbecue Sauce + Brisket Marinade BOGO

Stay home and avoid the Black Friday crowds—all of our sauces and marinades are available on our online store here. Or you can stop by any of our Puckett’s locations and pick up a bottle.

And as a family-run business, we also want to encourage you to “shop small” this Saturday, November 28, during Small Business Saturday and support the wonderful local businesses that make your hometown great.

Marshall Family Foods Location-Wide Gift Cards

Got a Puckett’s fan in your life? Give ‘em a Puckett’s gift card, which can be redeemed at any Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant location (yes, even you, Chattanooga!), Puckett’s Boat House or Harvest at Homestead.

But that’s not all! Buy a $100 gift card between Friday, Nov. 27, and Thursday, Dec. 31, get an additional $20 gift card at no cost; or buy a $50 gift card between Friday, Nov. 27, and Thursday, Dec. 31, and get an additional $10 gift card.

Gift cards are available for purchase on our online store here, or in all store locations. {Psst: they also make excellent stocking stuffers.}

Instagift e-Gift Cards

For those ready to shop before the turkey’s settled, Instagift is offering a special online e-gift card sale beginning Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. Buy a $100 gift card between Thursday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Dec. 2, and receive an additional $25 gift card at no cost.

Instagift is also bringing the sale back for a short time between Monday, Dec. 21, and Christmas Day for those last-minute shoppers. Puckett’s e-gift cards are available online here.

So there you have it, folks…three ways to shop + save this holiday season. We hope you have a happy Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas!
